Overflowing

I swallow 600mg of sanity every morning in a cold clear glass (half empty) with liquid memory and hydrogen voices filling the space between each breath. As the medication sinks into my soul the delusions gently vanish leaving only echoes and the fingerprints of madness on my skin. Unexplainable Fears

Yesterday night I was watching a movie where a girl had claustrophobia and the reason she had that fear was because she was held prisoner in a tiny closed room for two days when she was a child. That made me think about my two phobias: heights and tiny closed rooms. I don't know why I have them. All I know is I didn't have acrophobia and claustrophobia before. The Bus Stop Dialogues

I. A young man at the bus stop turns to me and softly asks "Why aren't you wearing shoes?" He taps the faded leather of his suedo-skin and his eyes smile in a gentle lilt before his mouth does.
